How to Run a Business from Home

It's easier than ever to start a business from the comfort of your living room. But that's not to say it's easy. Building a relation with a prospect may not be what we liked but if you want to take your business to the next level is becoming to be a task in the Internet social media society. Charlene Hall, who have done it share her survival tips

MLM Prospecting - Take a Glance Behind the Scenes of Prospecting

By Charlene Hall             Let's take a sneak peek into the new premier "Prospecting". Actually, this action-packed, everyone rated, motion picture has been on the scene for years, yet, highly misconstrued and underestimated. Here is a review on what "Prospecting" is really about and, as the bonus feature, action steps to ensure you are performing in its real meaning.

Take a moment and ask yourself: How many websites have you opted into and actually received a phone call? Perhaps not many, if any at all. But why is that? Surely we do not expect to thrive in an industry whose success rate is based upon building relationships. That's the beauty of network marketing and duplication at its best; getting on the phones and really prospecting.

The true essence of prospecting lies in contacting your leads personally via telephone or in-person conversation. We cannot hide behind the computer nor our autoresponder. Yes, our marketing strategies involve the Internet and it is understood that the initial relationship building begins with our social media and lead capture pages. In addition to, the real relationship component is sealed through our live interactions.

It is here where we exude our passion for the industry and have the opportunity to get to know them, their goals, dreams, aspirations, and what is leading them to network marketing. Finally, your prospects are introduced to you, their leader. It goes both ways. This alone should breed excitement.

Did I mention leader? Yes. By you contacting your prospects by phone rather than email, you position and brand yourself as leader and one who sincerely cares about his people. With this said, there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of! If you don't pick up the phone and don't want to call people, you need to quit the business, now. Not to be harsh, but that's reality.

Here are some consistent, action steps to begin applying in your schedule today:

1. If you want to make a full-time income in this industry, you must prospect at least 2-4 hours a day, five days a week. It must be done on a consistent basis in order to see results. Just starting out and don't have enough leads? Call people you've connected with on your social media sites...you know, the ones that you message information back and forth to regularly. Why not take your relationship up a notch and give them a call? You never know the valuable info you may feed to each other.

2. Ask yourself daily: How many people have you connected with TODAY? This will keep prospecting in the forefront of your mind everyday!

3. Study people. One of the best ways to understanding people is studying personalities. You will learn that what you say to one personality will motivate and get them excited, however, you can share the exact same message to a different personality and get no response. Learning the various personalities and how to speak their language will bring awesome results in your career as well as position you as a leader.

So what's really behind the curtains of "Prospecting"? Making phone calls, plain and simple. This may be the break you were waiting for! Now, it is time for you to move forward, pick up the phone, and begin calling your leads like crazy! Smile, be confident, laugh & have fun. You will be amazed at the beautiful friendships you will create as well as sponsoring new team members into your organization. Lights, camera, ACTION!!!

To your success.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

THINGS TO CONSIDER

Never stop moving towards your dreams!

Most any successful email marketer using our system, or any system for that matter, will tell you that you must commit to at least 1 year of using the system. You must also upload at a very minimum 2 million leads to have enough people to talk to. So don't cry when you upload 5000 leads and you only have 3 people as a premium lead, or even if you upload 500,000 leads and only have a few hundred premium leads to talk to. You need to commit to it, do it, and stop complaining about it. You talk to anyone that is successful and they will tell you this... "I never focused on the bad. I never complained about the ugly, and I never cried about the short comings.

Life is much too short. Do something that you really want to do. Don't waste your life. Don't simply settle for what others want you to do. The fact is that no one else really cares about your true happiness. Only you can care about what you really want to do with your life. So choose wisely. There is value in all work, whether it is self-employment or working for someone else. Never denigrate the fact that someone has a job. Not everyone hates his / her job. Not everyone wants to be self-employed. Not everyone should be self-employed. There are people who lead very fulfilling lives without being self-employed. The vast majority of new ideas, major accomplishments, lasting achievements, etc., have come from people who technically worked for someone else. So to all of those people who preach "ad nauseum" about how you "absolutely must" be in your own business - lighten up. No one appointed you "judge and jury". Live your own lives. Let others live theirs. It makes no difference what others are making in a company. That has no bearing on you. What matters is how much you want to make and what you are going to do to get it. What matters is what works for you.

Happy Hunting

My comment of the day.......

Todays,'s article is about a letter I received from someone that I will keep his privacy. It really sink to me and I will like to share it with you.

very nice lady called me the other day to ask me a question about her business.

When I returned her call and got into conversation, I found out that her question was about a Company that I am no longer marketing for.

When explaining that her question was out of my reach, she wanted to know why I was no longer a part of the company she was calling about.

Instead of explaining in detail why Sophia & I left our old Company, I offered her the Report that not only explained why we left that old business model, but also the document that clearly changed our lives. She didn’t respond to my offer.

In any case, the next words out of her mouth (after learning that we moved to a New Company, Product Line & Business Model) was...

“What is the Investment?”

My response was:

“That’s a good question Mary, but what I have found is that people who ask what it costs before they even know what “it” is, are more concerned about spending money than earning it. The truth is, there is far more of an investment of your time, energy and creativity than there is of money.”

[Then I went silent]

She said, “well how much would I have to put in to make any back?”

My response was:

“Well that depends on how much you want in return. I don’t know how much you will put in or how committed you willl be, so truly, that is impossible for me to answer. Again, you must put in more of your time, talent and discipline, than money, to be successful.”

Mary replied to me, “You know, I’ve been in Home Business for many years, probably longer than you’ve been alive (she might even be right!), and in all my years, I’ve never heard such a great response to this question. Young man, I’d like to look at the business you and your wife are building. I think I have a lot to learn from you.”

Now clearly Mary was a very bright lady and knew some good value when she heard it, so I left her with the following thought:

I said, “Mary, you know, I don’t even know if our business is a fit for you or not, and if not, that’s ok, but if you will send me a request for my information, I will reply back with a link to our Business if you truly want to take a look.

Sure enough, Mary sent her email to my private email address and I responded back with the link I promised.

I noticed within just minutes Mary began her search on our website as she became a lead in our System.

So, the moral of the story?

By providing value and then perhaps very gently suggesting that if a person is interested in your business, to let you know, you might create enough curiousity resulting in a new prospect or lead.

Certainly, you want to be more interested in them, than interesting to them.

Learn more about them than they learn about you.

With this formula, you can’t go wrong.

Mary certainly appreciated it and her actions were a direct result of our conversation.

After all, the Investment is never just about capital, but about how much of yourself you are willing to put into your business - which is far more valueable than money.

Thank you for your valuable time.
God Bless you

My 12secondcommute

Anybody who is in Business in the Internet know that Marketing Tools are mandatory.

The Essential part of having a prosperous business is the ability to bring Traffic to it, capitalize on it to offset your advertise expenses. If you don't have the right tools, you could easily find yourself not knowing were you going and build residual expenses. That has stopped for me since I joined my 12 secondcommute.
12 secondcommute is a Marketing Tool site like no other. It gives you the opportunity to try their product for 30 days, and their is no credit card required. All the resources that you get with your membership are an essential part of running a business. They have a program builder ready for you to use to start on a fast track building Your Prospect list. The best way to explained it is by watching the video below.
Make sure you check out, and understand the awesome power of the revolutionary
Program Builder - it's exclusive to 12SecondCommute. See video here:
http://www.12path.com/overview/

You could use your tools to build an existing business that you are promoting and power up your marketing.
And my advise will be to also promote 12 SC, because is an affordable way to offset you business expenses by advertising your business. Please review the video below.
http://www.12path.com/welcomeds/

Membership fees are real affordable and are as follow..
5 Day Upgrade Specials:
Everyone comes in for a 30 day trial. If they upgrade during the first 5 days of their trial account, we have some special bonuses for them.
They can get the $9/month Basic account and we will also give them the SEO tool site and an account at KnowforProfit.com or they can choose the Advanced at $19/month and automatically be upgraded to the Executive account or get the Executive at $29/month and automatically be upgraded to the Elite account. Both of these options will save them $10/month.
If they do not sign up during the first 5 days, they can still upgrade however there are no specials, so if they want the Elite, the cost is $39/month.
If they do not upgrade during the first 30 days, the account is deleted and they are not allowed to get another account for 180 days. If this happens, all leads are deleted and they lose everything.
Free members are also not allowed to earn commissions. The reason we do this is because of the false belief by some people who sign up for every trial account on the Internet and if it does not work in 15 or 30 days, they assume the program does not work and off they go to something else.
The intent of 12SC is to help people build their prospect list and this is not going to be done in 30 days or 3 months. Building your prospect list is something you are going to do for the rest of your time online and that is why people who don't upgrade their 12SC account are not permitted to receive commissions as we are going to work with those who are serious and make a commitment to themselves to be successful.
12secondcommute is growing in a fast pace because when people join they are overwhelmed with all the personal training and attention they get from the members community.
Our model is helping each other to continue a prosperous and financial success in any business you are involve with. Please join us and find out how the 12 secondcommuters can help you achieve your dreams.
Yours truly.

Earn, Advertise with Traffic Exchanges

A traffic exchange is a website promotion system based on the
concept of reciprocation.
In simplest terms, you achieve exposure for your own web site,
banner ads, and even text links by viewing the sites and ads of
other people.
These programs provide you with a very powerful way of:
Putting your product or service in front of a very diverse audience
Seeing what other folks are promoting
Getting an idea of how your competition is targeting their
campaigns
Branding your name, gather leads, and yes, even make sales
Traffic Exchanges are member based, so you must open an account
with each exchange you intend to use. This is a simple task that
can be completed in a couple of minutes, and it's usually free.
The initial sign-up process will require you to enter your name and
a valid email address. Additionally, you may be asked for
information about your web site.
In some cases, you are also asked to select a username and password
with which to access your member's only area. Other exchanges will
assign you with a user number and an auto-generated password.
Once you have completed the sign-up form, you will receive a
validation email. You will need to click the link indicated in this
message in order to validate (prove that you own) the email address
you have used to register your membership.
All traffic exchanges operate on a credit system. Members earn
credits by participating in a variety of ways, and then "spend"
these credits on website visitors, banner ad impressions, text
links, and in some cases, even email advert's.
By maintaining active memberships in a few good exchanges, you can
generate a tremendous flow of traffic for any web site you wish to
advertise. When used properly, these resources are an excellent way
to promote just about anything.
As I told you above, after you complete the sign up form for a
traffic exchange, you will need to validate, or prove that you own,
the email account you registered with. This is required to insure
that you receive important communications such as support
responses, program updates, and so forth.
Look in your email folder for a subject line that reads "Validate
Your Account", "Verify Your Account", or something similar. Open
this message and you will find a clearly marked validation link.
Simply click on the designated link within the validation email and
you will be taken to a confirmation page.
Once your email is validated, you are ready to login to your
account with your username and password.
Setting up your account basically involves adding your web site,

banner ad, and (if applicable) text link. Look to the member
navigation menu for a link that reads 'My Websites', 'Add Sites',
'URL Manager', or something along
these lines.
This link will take you to the page where you may enter your Target
URL(s). A Target URL is the website address you wish to drive
traffic to.
Just enter a title for your site, along with the URL, and submit
this information. Some exchanges will also ask you for a brief
description or give you the opportunity to select an appropriate
category for your site to be rotated through.
Your site must not be a frame breaker, (a site with code that
"breaks out" of the surf bar) as this type of site will disrupt the
process of generating traffic for other members of the exchange. In
some cases, you will be required to click a 'test' button that
checks your site for frame-breaking code before it is accepted into
the system. Alternatively, the site admin may check each URL
manually before
approving them.
Also, each exchange is likely to have its own set of rules
regarding the types of sites that are allowed. For example, some
exchanges do not allow the use of rotators.
Other programs have banned paid-to-promote type sites and apparent
ponzi schemes from rotation. Be sure to read the terms and
regulations of each exchange before submitting your target URL(s).
The procedure for adding banner ads and text links is pretty much
the same as that for adding your target URLs. Just find the
appropriate menu link and insert the correct
information into the submission form to enter your banner and text
ads into the member rotation.
There is sometimes confusion in getting your banners set up
properly. First you must have an image of the banner hosted
somewhere on the internet. Usually, the program that you are
promoting will give you an image url or tell you that you need to
copy the image and upload it to your own hosting account.
Either way there will be two urls to be added when entering a
banner. One will usually say" target url". The "target url" is
the page you want a person to see when they click on the banner
(the page you are promoting). The other will usually say "image
url". That is the location on the internet where your image file is
hosted. The final thing that some exchanges will have when
entering a banner is an "alt text:" box. Alt text is that someone
will see if for some reason the banner is not available because of
some sort of server glitch. (Yes even the best hosts sometimes
have glitches). This will also show whenever some one mouses over
the image.
The most common way to earn credits (and therefore traffic) via an
exchange program is to surf through a rotation of web sites that
are owned by other members. Most programs require you to login to
your account and click a surf link to begin this process.
However, some exchanges give you a special URL to use for surfing.
You can even set this surfing URL as your browser's home page, so
you earn traffic credits each time you open your browser. A program
that gives you a special URL of this nature is sometimes called a
start exchange.
Whether you surf by visiting a special URL, or by logging into the
exchange and clicking a designated link, you will be utilizing a
surf console, or surf bar for the purpose of visiting other web
sites and accruing traffic credits. The surf bar is usually a
visible frame that encloses the pages you view during your surf
session, but some exchanges use a 'floating' surf bar that comes
into view when the surf timer (more on this shortly) counts down.
While every exchange is a little different, the basic components of
the surf bar remain the same. These components are the timer, the
confirmation key, the user menu, and (optionally) the display area.
Timer - You will be required to view each site for a specific
amount of time. This interval will range from 10 to 30 seconds in
most cases. The timer may or may not be visible, but you will
receive a clear prompt when it is time to click to the next site.
Confirmation Key - When the required time has elapsed, you will be
prompted to activate the confirmation key in order to proceed to
the next site. This may consist of clicking a designated number,
matching the correct shape or color, or simply clicking a "Next
Site" button.
User Menu - This interface will usually allow you to login to your
member area to make adjustments, report sites that violate the
rules, and view your current statistics.
Display Area - Most surf bars will also designate additional space
for the purpose of displaying banner ads and text links. In this
way, an exchange can provide multiple forms of exposure.
The number of credits you can earn by surfing depends on the surf
ratio of the exchange you are using. A surf ratio is the formula
that determines the credit amount you earn for each page you view
from the surf bar.
This figure is represented by a colon symbol fixed between two
digits. The digit to the left of the colon denotes the number of
pages viewed, while the number to the right of the colon specifies
the number of credits earned. For example, a 2:1 surf ratio
indicates an earning of one credit for each two web sites viewed
while surfing.
Use The Traffic Exchanges To Build A List
One of the best ways to use traffic exchanges is to advertise a
squeeze page, also know as a lead capture page.
(Check out the tools at 12 second commute)
Get people on your own personal email list and build a relationship
with your subscribers. Then you can send them to your recommended
products and programs again and again.
This approach is infinitely more powerful than going for that
initial sale. And as any successful internet marketer will tell
you: "The money is in the list".
One way to start is Traffic Hoopla.
